Decline Release Notes

Version 1.04, 16 June 2003

First general release.

Beta Versions 1.01, 1.03

The program documentation has been updated to include a section on the limitations of the point to point curve algorithm.

The Decline Design form would always beep when it was first displayed. This was caused by an inconsisteny in the form definition and it has been fixed.

Several possible divide by zero problems have been located and are now handled correctly.

Sometimes parameters would not be read correctly by the curve engine. The parameter passing mechanism has been upgraded to avoid this problem.

One installation exhibited behaviour where by the curve engine could not be invoked. The method for executing the curve engine has been changed to avoid this possibilty in the future.

Certain data sets had the possiblity of causing a floating point error when there was no straight section present in the decline. This situation is now handled correctly.

When working with north south strings the curve engine would cause a divide by zero error when calculating the slop of the curve. This has been rectified.
